There are two ways to test your home for radon. Both options provide reliable results and help determine whether mitigation is necessary.
A one-day home inspection Radon Test is usually not accurate and not recommended.
The minimum reliable test is 7 days, and the recommended test duration
by Health Canada is 90 days.
Option 1 — Long-Term Radon Test Kit (Recommended)
Long-Term Radon Test Kit
The most accurate way to measure radon in your home is with a long-term test. This test measures radon levels over 90 days, as recommended by Health Canada, providing a reliable average radon concentration.

Option 2 — Short-Term Professional Test
Short-Term Professional Radon Test
If you need quicker results, we offer professional short-term radon testing.
This option is especially useful for real estate transactions where timely information is required.
The short-term test measures radon levels over 7 days and requires two visits:
- First visit: Our technician installs the testing device.
- Second visit: The device is collected 7 days later, and we review the results and assess your home for a mitigation quote if required.
Cost:
- $120 service fee
- $100 refundable deposit for the testing device
